Preston Park Montessori Academy : Our History




		Preston Park Montessori Academy represents the fulfillment of a life-long dream. While planning and preparing for the creation of PPMA, Pam Jindal , director and co-owner of PPMA, was the owner and administrator of multi-site, in-home child-care facilities for eleven years. Her goal was to own and operate a beautiful facility, reflective of Pam’s sincere love for children and fervent desire to provide them the best possible environment to learn and grow. The PPMA was built specifically with the goal of providing outstanding early childhood education in a safe and learning condusive environment. The building was completed in early 2003. We enrolled our first students in Fall of 2003. In 2005 PPMA expanded and added a computer room, as well as additional recreation facilitites. In 2007, PPMA renovated the play yard so that students could now be sheltered from the sun while they play--something critical in sunny North Central Texas! Pam is a daily and active presence at the school and oversees its operations as though the entire building were actually filled with her own children.
